The level of this course is NQF 6.

The BA (Hons) in Business Studies is designed as a top-up for holders of the BTEC HND Business and Management or the Advanced Diploma in Business (from NCC/ABE) to progress to full Undergraduate Honours.

The programme is focussed to improve your knowledge about organisations, their Management and the changing external environment in which they operate. The course will enhance student's lifelong learning skills to contribute to society.

Course Duration

The University of Greenwich BA (Hons) Business Studies Top-Up is normally studied over a 12-month period, but this may be extended to suit your individual needs for up to a maximum of three years.

Assessment

Assessment periods are in January and August.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course you should be able to demonstrate:

• A good understanding of organisations and the external environment in which a person operates – with a strong emphasis on change-management

• To understand the development and operation of markets for resources and services

• A good understanding of financial data to aid management decision-making

• To comprehend and use relevant communication and information technology for application in business and management

• To develop appropriate policies and strategies within a changing environment, to meet stakeholder interest

The BSc (Hons) in Computing is awarded by the University of Greenwich. This degree is designed to allow students with a wide variety of external qualifications to 'top-up' their qualification to an honours degree. The programme aims to be in-line with recent developments in computing and the current market trends with requirements for new technologies and web-based applications in particular.

• A suitable Higher/Advanced Diploma in Computing or Information Technology

• IMIS Higher Diploma in Management of Information Systems

• NCC International Advanced Diploma in Computer Science

• ACP Advanced Diploma in Computer Science

• Edexcel HND (in relevant computing/IT subjects)

• ABE Advanced Diploma in Business Information Systems

• Minimum age of nineteen
