The Travel and Tourism course offered through Blake Hall College combines the essence of Travel and Tourism with basic Business and Economic principles. The combination creates a unique qualification that specialises not only in the fast growing and continuously expanding recreational side of the Tourism industry, but also equips the student with valuable knowledge of the Business component of Tourism. The Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality provides students with all the relevant information to give them a thorough understanding of the nature and operation of the tourism and hospitality sectors.

This 12 Month course encompasses learning areas such as Economic Principles and their Application to Business, Organisational Behaviour, Financial Accounting and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality.

This 12 Month course encompasses learning areas such as Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication, Human Resource Management, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Operations Management, Managerial Accounting, Principles of Business Law, Information Technology in Hospitality and Tourism Operations and Customer Service Skills.
Blake Hall College also grants the opportunity for students to combine the BTEC Higher National Certificate in Travel and Tourism Management and the BTEC Higher National Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management and complete both courses in one year, thereby halving the course duration.
